The amount you can save by using BONVU depends on how many packages you consolidate and the shipping method you choose. You may not save on shipping costs for a single package, but the more packages you consolidate, the more you save. BONVU works with major couriers (DHL, UPS, FedEx) and can offer international shipping services at discounts of up to 60%.
Of course you can. Many US e-commerce companies only ship to the US, and BONVU allows you to purchase these products smoothly. If the seller only accepts US payment methods (credit cards, checks, etc.), BONVU can also purchase and pay for the goods on your behalf (please refer to BONVU International Shopping Service for details).
Many US sellers do not accept overseas credit cards. Common payment methods are PayPal or direct bank transfer (but not commonly used). BONVU can assist you in paying for your purchases (please refer to BONVU International Shopping Service for details).
Whether shipments to BONVU.COM are trackable depends on the shipping service the seller uses. This is between the seller and you. If the seller ships via Fedex, UPS, or DHL, the package will be fully trackable. However, if the seller ships via USPS (Postal Service), tracking may or may not be included.
The shipping address fields are slightly different for each seller. It is important that all address information is filled out correctly. In the Name section, please include "BONVU.COM" and your name. Our street address is 236 Trademark St. Please find the full BONVU.COM warehouse address in the Services section.
BONVU.COM is not a mail forwarding service. BONVU.COM's purpose is to forward and consolidate packages before overseas delivery.
BONVU.COM offers you the choice of choosing the courier you wish to use. You will receive rate quotes from USPS (Postal Service), FEDEX, UPS, and DHL. The choice is yours. All will include insurance coverage for your items (provided through the carrier and subject to the carrier's terms). FEDEX, UPS, and DHL include full tracking. USPS has limited tracking only. Shipping times are between 2 and 10 business days. USPS Priority Mail is 6-10 business days; USPS Express, FEDEX Economy, and UPS Express are 4-6 business days; FEDEX Priority, UPS Economy, and DHL Worldwide Express are 2-4 business days.
This also depends on the destination country. Carriers restrict what they will and will not ship. More information at http://pe.usps.com/text/imm/immctry.htm http://www.fedex.com/ http://www.ups.com/ or http://www.dhl.com/. Usually anything flammable or combustible, pressurized containers, hazardous materials, weapons, etc. are not allowed.
In order to ship goods to a foreign country, the goods must meet the official requirements of the exporting country (export declaration) and the importing country (invoice, etc.). BONVU.COM creates the necessary documents based on the goods themselves and the information you provide.
BONVU.COM only provides information on door-to-door shipping and insurance costs for your items provided by shipping services (USPS, FEDEX, UPS, DHL). Customs duties and import taxes are not included in our prices but can be checked at your local customs office. In Europe, import taxes are usually similar to VAT. Most items have little or no customs duty.
When you enter the details of a "new shipment" to us, you will describe your items. To avoid problems at the customs office, your item description should be specific, clear, and give the number of items in the package. For example, if it is 2 used mobile phones purchased on eBay.com, you could describe it as "2 used and untested Nokia mobile phones, model: 57831 and 87694."
When you prepare to ship your package overseas, you will enter the value of each item in your account. The value is usually the amount you purchased the item for, including any taxes and shipping costs. The value you declare for each item will appear on the customs invoice. This declared value should be reasonable for the item description to avoid any doubts or delays at the customs office.
These taxes and fees are collected when your shipment arrives at the destination country. They are paid by you, as the importer/buyer of the items.
Import taxes are based on the value of the items you declare on the customs invoice we provide with your shipment. It is a percentage of the value of the items plus the shipping costs. In most European countries this import tax is similar to VAT. Duties are based on the value of the items. Many items are exempt from customs duties. Please contact your local customs office for specifics.
