  • Can my Shop4me orders be shipped directly to me, rather than to my MyUKCart address?

    • No. All Shop4Me orders must first be shipped to myukcart's facilities. This is to ensure that all orders received are accurate before being shipped out.

  • Can I use Shop4me services on auction sites like Ebay?

    • Yes. However, myukcart will not bid on behalf of members, so always select "Buy It Now" items when submitting orders from auction sites such as Ebay. Ebay items or sellers must be based in the UK, and you need to ensure that the selected items are in stock. If an item is sold out, myukcart will cancel the item and top up your wallet with the refund amount.

  • Can I use the Shop4me service to order items from stores outside the UK?

    • No. myukcart can only be used to purchase products from merchants in the UK.

    • Yes, as long as the order has not been processed. Upon cancellation of the order, your payment will be refunded to your account.

  • Why is my package not showing up in my account?

    • MyUKCart will record a parcel to your account within 24 hours of it arriving at a myukcart facility. You will receive an email alert whenever a parcel is recorded.

    • Actual weight is what the package weighs when you place it on the scale.

    • Dimensional weight, also known as "volumetric weight," is the weight calculated based on the dimensions or volume of a package. Dimensional weight is calculated by multiplying the length, width, and height of a package. Here is the standard formula for calculating dimensional weight:

  • Will I be charged actual weight or dimensional weight?

    • You will be charged either the accrued weight or the billable weight. Once the dimensional weight is calculated, it is compared to the actual weight and the greater of the two is used to determine the accrued weight or the billable weight.

Between the actual weight and the dimensional weight, whichever is greater, you will be charged for that weight.

    • Yes. myukcart offers air freight for shipments weighing 100kg and above. Air freight is generally cheaper than express delivery and is quite economical when sending heavier shipments. The transit time for regular air freight is 7-10 days.

    • Please note that air shipments must comply with all export guidelines of the nominated carrier. The consignee is responsible for clearing customs upon arrival of the shipment at the destination airport.
