What is Tiptrans

Tiptrans has been operating in China for more than 15 years, opening its first warehouse in Shenzhen as early as 2012. This was followed by a second warehouse in Hong Kong in 2014. Two years later, Tiptrans added warehouses in the Czech Republic and Germany. In 2017, further expansion took place with the acquisition of the first warehouse in the UK. FAQs about using Tiptrans

What if you don't recognize my package?

In this case, Tiptrans will try to contact the shipper. This is usually because the shipper did not fill in your address correctly. If Tiptrans cannot get in touch with them, they will put the package aside and wait for you to notify Tiptrans that the package is missing. In most cases, Tiptrans will be able to identify your package based on the shipping number.

I just received the message "Package is not eligible for international shipping." What should I do?

Sometimes Tiptrans receives packages in poor condition. In these cases, they are kept as is so that you can group them with other packages into a consolidated shipment later. However, if you want an immediate delivery of a poorly packaged item, Tiptrans will need to repack it. Repacking is subject to a service fee and can be ordered directly from your account.

Do you accept cash on delivery?

In some cases. For example, suppliers in China often require the recipient to pay for shipping. Tiptrans is happy to accept these packages, but a cash on delivery service fee will be charged. If you need Tiptrans to accept cash on delivery for regular goods, please contact Tiptrans before shipping.

Are there any storage fees?

You can store your parcel in a Tiptrans box at any Tiptrans warehouse for free for up to 30 days. However, if your parcel remains in the box for more than 30 days or if you send your parcel to a full box, Tiptrans will charge you a storage fee. This fee is calculated proportionally. So if your parcel is small, you will pay a small fee, while larger parcels will incur a higher fee. How do I ship my package?

You can do this online through your Tiptrans account. Simply log in, select your carrier, complete the customs declaration, and place your shipping order. Remember, Tiptrans will never ship unless you instruct Tiptrans to do so.

Where can I fill in the customs declaration form?

Simply log in to your Tiptrans account, go to "Package Details" and fill in the customs declaration. Remember that it is your responsibility to declare your items correctly. Tiptrans will then attach the documents to your package. If you are unsure of the contents of your package, you can ask Tiptrans to take photos of your items. To do this, simply make a "Special Request" under "Photos of Contents". Tiptrans will then add 3 photos to your package details.

What items cannot be shipped?

There are a number of items that are prohibited or restricted depending on the warehouse your package is being shipped from. For a full list of items, visit the Prohibited and Restricted Items section. General prohibited items include explosive materials, firearms/firearm parts, scopes, red dot sights, reflex sights, ammunition, flammable items, pornography, corrosive materials, human remains, and living or dead plants/animals. Can I change my delivery address?

Yes, but you can only use one shipping address at a time. Please keep in mind that if you pay via PayPal, your PayPal shipping address needs to match your Tiptrans account address. Any changes you make to your shipping address on Tiptrans will need to be manually approved. If you would like your package to be shipped to a different address, you will need to pay via bank wire or Bitcoin.

Will my package be insured?

All packages include basic insurance. If your package is lost, Tiptrans will refund your shipping costs. However, basic insurance does not cover package damage and cargo costs. But if needed, you can choose full insurance. To ensure your items are protected
