Do I need to pay import duties and taxes?

If you ship outside the EU, you may incur these charges. These charges must be paid by you and are not included in myGermany 's service rates. myGermany 's carrier will charge you when they deliver the package to you. Please check here .

If you ship to the EU, you don't have to pay.

If you are shipping to a non-EU country, your shipment may incur two import charges that myGermany is not responsible for:

- Import duties. Customs will determine this based on value and content.

– Import taxes. You may be required to pay VAT in your country.

myGermany cannot quote/advise the above mentioned costs as the customs in your country will calculate them. Customs works with myGermany's shipping companies. If costs are incurred, the carrier will contact you and ask you to pay these costs.

Some low value goods are free and can be imported free of charge. Please check the 'minimum value' details with your customs office (they change regularly).

Will myGermany receive my mail?

No. myGermany does not receive or provide a forwarding service for correspondence or mail.

myGermany does not receive, scan, forward or respond to requests for forwarding correspondence, such as correspondence containing bank details, phone/SIM cards, verification data (e.g. Google Adsense), VAT registrations or any registration verification letters.

myGermany receives letters with articles to be forwarded (e.g. trading cards etc.), but not letters with prohibited content. Letters will not be opened for photographing. See also the list of prohibited articles .

What are the storage conditions for myGermany?

Your received goods will be stored free of charge for Standard/Sensitive members 60 days and 0,2 m3 and Premium members 90 days and 0,5 m3. For Business members myGermany has special conditions. Consolidation and drop shipping will be stored free of charge for 7 days.

After 60/90 days (your parcel) and 7 days (combined) free storage, myGermany will store your items for an additional 90 days. During these additional days, myGermany charges a storage fee: 3.00 EUR per parcel per day (150 EUR per pallet per month). If your parcel is very large and the storage requirements are higher than normal, myGermany reserves the right to adjust the storage fees accordingly.

If you face restrictions, myGermany will notify you by email and in your account.

myGermany reserves the right to discard items that have been left in the warehouse for more than 120 days. These items are considered "forgotten" and will no longer be stored.

Can I pick up the package at my German warehouse?

myGermany welcomes you to do this. Please contact myGermany in advance . Your ID document is required. External pickup costs 39,00 EUR for the Standard package. The cost of shipping is calculated separately and depends on weight and dimensions as well as the associated effort. myGermany does not support VAT refunds for customer pickups. German law prohibits all German sellers from refunding VAT without being able to prove that the shipment took place outside the EU.
